Stat Crew Software Inc. Launches

CARLSBAD, Calif. - Stat Crew Software Inc, a part of CBSSports.com College network, has released their new "Next Generation Software" platform to meet the diverse technological needs of its growing user base. Stat Crew includes coverage of eight sports, and is the primary scoring software in use at nearly 3,000 colleges and universities around the country.

The "Next Generation Software" project includes an update to the scoring interface to be compatible with both Mac and Windows platforms, and a migration to cloud-based stats data management. All of this was accomplished while maintaining scoring functions identical, or similar to the existing legacy software.

Once moved to this new stats system, schools manage their data on secure stats websites, and control the distribution of the live in-game data to their various media partners. The new system also speeds the delivery of post-game data to opponents, conference offices, NCAA, or other destinations.

The project is underway for all sports, and includes access to the cloud and Next Generation Software for any school purchasing Stat Crew Software during the 2012-13 seasons.
